Trascorrales

The old fish market, located in the central Trascorrales Square and completed in 1866, has now become an active municipal cultural space open all year round. It hosts international events, such as the Biennial of Pastel Painting, fairs with a great economic impact for local traders, such as LibrOviedo and a wide range of exhibitions, including a Christmas tradition consisting of the exhibition of nativity scenes. Trascorrales has also become a stage for art fairs, such as Cerámica Creativa (CER.O - Creative Ceramics) or Alma Gráfica (Graphics Fair) and hosts various charity activities consisting of exhibitions and markets.
